Field Trips

Get the kids out of the classroom and into the outdoors! Sundrop Springs offers field trip opportunities to all public schools, charter schools, homeschool groups and even Mommy's Day Out groups. Learn what it's like to take care of a farm and feed the chickens, goats and SweetPea, the donkey. Field trip activities on the farm include a giant jumping pillow, playground and arts and crafts. Enjoy a day on the farm - both educational and FUN!

Spring - Barnyard Animals (March 15 - May 15)

Student’s learn about the practical uses of goats, ducks, chickens and donkeys from a farmer. Kids can explore the farm and stand at the feet of one of our wooden giants. We have an assortment of fun activities to keep everyone engaged and stimulated. There is a shaded picnic area that can accommodate large groups if a lunch break wants to be taken. We have portable restrooms available.

A field trip host will provide any needed instruction and assist with rotating kids to various activities on the farm. Teachers and Chaperones are responsible for managing the kids.

Attractions:
• Jumping Pillow (can accommodate up to 30 kids)
• Troll Castle Playground
• Tricycle Track
• Petting Zoo
• Farm Animal Presentation (10 minutes)

Cost: $8 for Kids & Family Members. Minimum 30 people.

Fall - Pumpkin Patch (Sep. 15 - Oct. 31)

Student’s learn about growing pumpkins in the field. Enjoy some of our farm attractions and kids can participate in some Fall activities. There is a shaded picnic area that can accommodate large groups if a lunch break wants to be taken. We have portable restrooms available.
